F is for Fugly

Love Edna's wallpaper..actually it reminds me of the wallpaper in the Foreman's kitchen

okay not the same but still made me think of it. Love this scene.

The challenge this week for Sisterhood of Snarky Sisterhood is F is for Fugly.
I found a sheet of patterned paper that I really don't like, although once it was cut down, it wasn't so bad.

I used a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches (234) and thought it would work nicely.

So I made this card with two different sentiments. I did a sentiment on each side and figured I could attach the side that I need. :)

So it isn't as bad as I thought, still not my first choice in paper.

Want to play along and join the Sisterhood?? Of course you do!!

You have until 11:55 pm (EST) on Friday May 27th to upload your project to the sisterhood blog.

Well that is some really really ugly paper, not my colour choice and is it from the 70's? You know they say you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but you made two fabulous cards with the fugly paper.

That paper is totally inspired by The 70's Show!! Yep, pretty fugly. Well done!!

Yep, I am pretty sure my childhood home had some wallpaper that looked like that LOL
Not my first choice of paper either, but you are right, cut it down and it's not so bad!
Fab job!

Just to make it unanimous... that is pretty fugly paper you have there! I agree, in small doses it's not quite so bad. Amazing the things we all seem to have in our stash! Nice job turning it into something you can actually use. ;)

I once lived in a house that had wallpaper a lot like that. Nasty! We tore it down and painted everything magnolia. Now I realise I should have soaked it off and made cards out of it
