best wishes with Authentique Blissful

This week I did a fairly simple card using this months Scraptures card kit. I followed Mojo Monday sketch from May 19th. I added some gems using my iRock. The two flags/banners are stamped with the 2 flower stamps in the kit (I know some kits have a different stamp set in it this month) and added a gem to each one.
The circle is a chipboard element  and washi tape are found in the kit. The saying is from Paper Smooches and a previous kit.

Let's see what you can do with the chipboard element page.

You make you smile

Last card this month using Scraptures card kit.
I enjoyed making this card with the Pink Paislee Hey Kid card kit. I used Cardmaps 4 and then had some fun. I used the washi tape and dots that came with the kit. The moustache was attached to a piece of cardstock and then trimmed that to leave a small border. As usual, I inked the edges because it does not looked finished without the ink. :)  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches "We click"..I really need to get the dies for this stamp set.

Hey Girl

It's another Wednesday and another wild card for Scraptures. Nice simple card...used cardmaps again. Lots of paper and stickers from the Pink Paislee Hey Kid card kit.
I also used the Paper Smooches We click stamp set again.
After I took the photo I decided the flower needed something so I used my pink and green wink of stella pens and coloured it all pretty like. It looks so much better.

We still click after 20 years

Good morning. I hope you are having a great summer. This week I am on staycation.  I enjoyed my time designing the layout kit for Scraptures but it's back to the card kit for me. This month we are using Pink Paislee "Hey Kid Kre8v" and Paper Smooches "We Click" stamp set.

I was going to feature a different card first but since today is my 20th anniversary I thought I would use this one instead. I love this stamp set, it is so much fun. I think I need the die that matches.

I used a sketch from my Cardmaps 4, I figured since I bought the book I should at least use it. :)

Here is a photo of Mark and I from 2011 in Punta Cana.

Blowing in the Wind

Another Tuesday, another latest layout for Scraptures kit club using the scrapbook kit.
This layout was easy and hard. LOL I like the layout and the flow of it but the title was a killer.
First trying to come up with one (thanks Jeff) and then how to actually do the title.
I ended up using Dylusions letter stamps for the large ones and then wrote the rest by hand.

The picture is Dakota enjoying the top off the Jeep for one of the first times. With her hair blowing we teased her that it was like a dogs ears with his head out the window..hence the tongue hanging out like a dog.
I added some gems to denote the flow of wind.
Sketch is from Sketch n Scrap inspiration #7.

Scraptures & Sketch N Scrap

For this week's Tuesday Temptations I was able to combine my 2 design teams. So I was inspired by this weeks sketch for Sketch N  Scrap.
I am still working with the July scrapbook kit featuring My Mind's Eye Chalk Studio 2. For this layout I used "Remember" and the back of  "Garden". Not a fan of the front but have been able to make good use of the back of the page. I added matching cardstock and washi tape from my stash.
The stars were made using the Dylusions star template that came in a previous card kit. I attempted to use a plate to draw the circle stitched lines...it was a fail. LOL
Here is the mid month sketch from Sketch N Scrap. Please visit and see what the rest of the design team and the guest designer did with this sketch. What a talented bunch of ladies.

Here is my take on the sketch using the Scraptures scrapbook kit. I am really enjoying using this kit. Good thing too, since there are 5 weeks in this month.

For Sketch N Scrap there are 2 sponsors (can't post here this time). Please visit the Sketch N Scrap blog to find out who.
Please visit the Scraptures online store to see if there are any of this months kit available for your enjoyment. You won't regret it.
